Parineeti Chopra made her Bollywood debut at the age of 24 in a comedy film and has since delivered outstanding performances across various genres and roles. With her immense potential, it was clear that her acting career would be anything but short-lived. While she, like many young actors in the industry, has struggled with weight loss, it's no secret.

However, there hasn’t been a single time that Parineeti has shied away from her love for food. In fact, she worked hard on her inhibitions and has been maintaining a strict diet and workout routine ever since. But cheat meals always slip in. Currently in Punjab, shooting for an upcoming film with director Imitiaz Ali, Parineeti shared a carousel of her behind-the-scenes moments with the crew. Amidst the pictures, we saw several gurudwaras that she visited, but what caught our eye were the yummy sweet treats.

The first one was kada parshad. For those unfamiliar, it is a sacred sweet dish prepared in the Gurudwara and served to all the devotees who come to pray and pay their respects. It is a kind of halwa made with wheat flour that is continuously stirred with ghee and sugar. The next thing we spot is a half-eaten boondi ladoo. Also known as motichoor ladoo, it is made with tiny, sweet, syrupy beads of fried besan in ghee that are bound together to make a big, spherical dessert.

The actor looked super happy during her stay in Punjab and made the most of her work trip to devour the yummy food and mithais along with all the sightseeing. She captions the post, saying, "This film is my meditation #Chamkila".
