Parineeti Chopra is an ultimate foodie and there is no denying it. Her Instagram account is proof as she keeps expressing her love for food through her stories. She recently posted a picture of Chocolate fudge on her Instagram story and we are all drooling over it. Aren’t we?

From portraying a bubbly character in ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ to portraying a self-made lady in ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar”, her journey has been long and inspiring. Either in interviews or through her social media accounts, Parineeti Chopra has always confessed of being a foodie. Indeed, Parineeti Chopra’s food antics are something to be looked upon.

An absolute Punjabi, Parineeti Chopra often shares Instagram stories of her having Paranthas and Chai. Moreover, she has never failed to shower her love on desserts. A few days ago, the actress shared a picture of a three-tier dessert stand on her Instagram story. Recently, she has shared a picture of chocolate fudge on her social media account and this has triggered our sweet tooth.

We cannot bring you the fudge Parineeti Chopra had but we can definitely give you a quick recipe of how you can make fudge at home and satisfy your chocolate cravings. Believe us, this quick and easy fudge recipe will take you to foodie heaven.

Ingredients  
  • 250 gm Chocolate  
  • 200 gm Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 to 2 drops of Vanilla extract
  • Some Nuts 
Method
  • Line parchment paper or aluminum foil in a 6x6 inch square pan. Make sure that the parchment paper or foil covers all the sides. Also, try keeping some extra space on the sides of the pan so that lift the fudge easily when it is set.
  • Chop the chocolate and set it aside.
  • Add the chopped chocolate to a pan.
  • Add 200 gm sweetened condensed milk
  • Add 1 tbsp butter
  • Heat about 1.5 cups of water in another pan or pot on high heat till the water begins to boil
  • Lower the heat and place the bowl containing chopped chocolate, condensed milk, and butter on the pan or pot of water. (You can also melt the chocolate in a microwave)
  • Soon after keeping the pan, you will see that the chocolate has started to melt
  • Stir well till the chocolate has melted completely
  • Keeping stirring the mixture
  • When the chocolate is done, turn off the flame
  • Add nuts and vanilla extract
  • After mixing well, pour the mixture into the aluminium foil or parchment paper
  • Let the fudge first cool at room temperature. Make sure you do not cover the pan
  • When the chocolate fudge has cooled at room temperature, cover the pan and refrigerate it for 2-3 hours or overnight till it sets
  • When set, remove the fudge and cut it into square or rectangle pieces
  • You can serve them right away or store them in a jar or container as they stay good for a month in the fridge
