Mira Rajput Kapoor isn’t unknown to the masses anymore. With more than three million followers on Instagram, Mira has carved a niche for herself as a lifestyle influencer and content creator on social media. Be it her skincare, health, beauty, food, and diet tips or her vacay pictures with husband, actor Shahid Kapoor and kids Misha and Zain, Mira keeps her fans and followers engaged with different types of content that has the attention of people across age groups.

Her trips and vacation content are what a lot of people love to see in particular. The 27-year-old is currently holidaying in Italy along with Shahid and the kids, and keeping up with the tradition, she is regularly giving us a sneak peek into the family trip. We told you about Mira’s dinner date with Shahid at a restaurant in St Moritz, and also her fruits and cheese platter. Mira also had an Indian meal in Switzerland, and her reaction to having it after five days was hilarious. Well, from the picturesque scenery to yummy foods, we have seen it all.

However, there seems to be a glitch in the family’s Italian trip, as Mira recently took to Instagram Stories to reveal some details around the same. A pure vegetarian, she expressed her displeasure at the limited vegetarian food options in Sicily. In fact, the family seem to be having a tough time finding proper vegetarian food at the resort they are staying on the Italian island.  Mira shared an Insta story explaining the same. Take a look:

“Limited food options, without an attempt to make a vegetarian feel comforted,” she wrote, adding, “At a time when veganism is a global movement and an accepted way of life, it is disappointing that hotel groups are not taking the initiative to fulfil the dietary requirements, even after being informed in advance. Removing meat from any dish does not make you accommodating.”

Earlier, Shahid too had taken to Instagram to share a story featuring a GIF of two alpacas chewing and wrote, “Feels like us trying to find veg food in Sicily…” For the unversed, Shahid turned vegetarian over a decade ago after reading the book ‘Life Is Fair by Brian Hines’ gifted to him by his father. He reportedly loves to devour South Indian food, and usually consumes 5-6 small meals in a day to keep a portion check. Besides, he has confessed in interviews that he loves sandwiches and salads made by his wife Mira.

The couple is known to follow a strict vegetarian diet. Have you too faced any such issues regarding vegetarian food during your vacations? Let us know your experience.
