  1. Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  2. Green chilli - 7-8 finely chopped
  3. Fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
  6. Amla - 250 grams
  7. Salt - as per taste
  8. Mustard - 2 tsp
  9. Fennel - 1/2 tsp
  10. Cumin - 1/2 tsp
  11. Oil - 1 cup

How to make gooseberry pickles?

  1. First of all, heat water in a vessel, add salt, light turmeric, boil the gooseberry and cool it.
  2. After cooling, take out the seeds from the amla.
  3. Now put fennel seeds, fenugreek, mustard seeds, cumin in a mixer and grind them coarsely.
  4. Now in a pan, heat oil, add asafoetida, turmeric, Kashmiri chilli, green chilli, salt, ground spices and fry it for some time.
  5. Now put boiled gooseberry in it, and after stirring it once, cover it with a plate and turn off the gas after some time.
  6. Amla pickle is ready to serve with meals.



  1. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  2. Almond powder - 1/2 tsp
  3. Cashew powder - 2 tsp
  4. Sweet soda - 1/2 tsp
  5. Sugar - 150 grams
  6. Amla - 300 grams
  7. Sugar - 1/2 cup 
  8. Ghee - 2 tsp

How to make gooseberry ladoo?

  1. First, put the gooseberry in the microwave or boil it in water. After it cools down, please take out the seeds and grate them.
  2. Now heat a pan, add grated amla, sugar and cook it while stirring for some time.
  3. After cooking for two to three minutes, add ghee to it, mix it well, and cook for some time.
  4. After 4-5 minutes, mix other ingredients, stir it once, and turn off the gas.
  5. After cooling down for some time, apply some ghee in your hand, take out of the mixture and make it in the shape of ladoos.

  3. Salt - as per taste
  4. Amla - 6-7 boiled
  5. Fennel - 1/2 tsp
  6. Ghee - 1/2 tsp

How to make gooseberry chutney?

  1. First of all, in a pan, heat oil, fry the fennel and add boiled gooseberry for a while.
  2. After 2-3 minutes, add coriander powder, red chilli powder, ghee and cook it for one to two minutes.
  3. After cooking for three minutes, add salt to it, and after mixing it well, turn off the gas.
  4. Please put it in a mixer and grind it well when it cools down.
