Oats Idli

Almost all of us know how beneficial oats are for the body. They are affluent in antioxidants, fibre, vitamins and minerals. To make oats idli, you will need ingredients like oats, semolina, curd, carrot, coriander leaves, turmeric, green chilli, salt to taste, urad dal, coconut oil, chana dal and curry leaves.

  1. First of all, roast the oats and make a powder of them.
  2. Mix all the other ingredients and grated carrots with oats flour in a vessel. 
  3. Now add some water to it, mix it well, and keep it aside for some time. 
  4. After this, put the ingredients in a pan and fry them for some time after tempering. 
  5. Now, grease the idli stand, and after pouring the idli batter in it, boil it on medium flame. 
  6. Cook it for about 5 to 10 minutes and serve it with coconut chutney.

Moong Dal Tikki

Moong dal is rich in protein, and we all know how important protein is for the body. To make moong dal tikki, you will need yellow moong dal, green chillies, ginger, chopped onion, green peas-boiled, capsicum, paneer, corn flour, cumin powder, salt as per taste, amchur, oil and chaat masala.

  1. First of all, keep the moong dal in water for some time to become soft.
  2. After this, please take out the moong dal from the water and fry it for some time. 
  3. Now put lentils, green chillies, coriander leaves, paneer, ginger in the mixer and grind them well.
  4. After taking it out in a vessel, add cornflour, cumin powder, chaat masala powder, mango powder, salt and mix it well. 
  5. Now make round tikkis out of it and keep it aside. Now, in a pan, heat oil and cook the tikkis till golden brown on both sides. 

Baked Chakli

Baked chakli is a healthy snack that can be enjoyed during the festive season. To make this, you will need ragi flour, gram flour, ginger-garlic paste, chilli powder, salt and oil as per taste.

  1. First, knead the dough by mixing ragi flour, gram flour and oil. Remember, the dough has to be kept soft.
  2. Now divide it into two equal parts. 
  3. After this, put half of this dough in the chakli machine to make chakli.
  4. After completing this, preheat the oven to 150 to 200 degrees, and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. In the same way, bake the rest of the dough, and if you like, you can also fry it in oil.
