Halim Jaggery Ladoo

Ingredients:

  1. Halim Seeds 2 Tbsp
  2. Grated Fresh Coconut 5 Tbsp
  3. Cardamom Powder (Elaichi) 1/4 Tsp
  4. Jaggery Powder 3 Tbsp
  5. Clarified Butter (Ghee) 2 Tsp
  6. Water As Required

Steps:

Pre Preparation: Soak Halim seeds overnight

Preparation

  1. In a pan, add soaked Halim seeds, grated fresh coconut, jaggery powder, ghee and roast till dark brown
  2. Remove the mixture to a separate bowl, add green elaichi powder and mix well
  3. Cool the mixture and bind it into ladoos
  4. Serve fresh

Methi Khakhra With Oil

Ingredients:

  1. Whole Wheat Flour 1/4 Cup
  2. Chopped Fenugreek (Methi) 2.5 Tbsp
  3. Turmeric Powder (Haldi) 1/4 Tsp
  4. Red Chilly Powder 1/4 Tsp
  5. Ginger Garlic Paste 1/4 Tsp
  6. Cumin Seeds (Jeera) 1/4 Tsp
  7. Salt 1/4 Tsp
  8. Oil 2 Tsp
  9. Water As Required

Steps:

Preparation

  1. Add haldi, wheat flour, jeera, salt and red chilli powder to a bowl.
  2. Now, add ginger garlic paste, chopped methi leaves, and water. Knead the dough well.
  3. Roll the khakhra using a rolling pin while taking a small portion of the dough
  4. Heat a tawa, add oil and roast by pressing down with the spatula. Flip the khakhra on repeat until roasted and crisp
  5. Serve hot

Rajgeera Roti With Ghee

Ingredients:

  1. Amaranth Flour (Rajgeera) 4 Tbsp
  2. Cumin Seeds (Jeera) 1/4 Tsp
  3. Grated Ginger 1/8 Tsp
  4. Black Pepper Powder 1/8 Tsp
  5. Salt 1/8 Tsp
  6. Clarified Butter (Ghee) 1/2 Tsp
  7. Water As Required

Steps:

Preparation

  1. Add rajgeera flour, grated ginger, salt, black pepper powder, and jeera in a mixing bowl, and mix well.
  2. Knead into a soft dough while adding little water
  3. Form a roti by rolling out the dough
  4. Apply ghee and roast on both the sides till golden brown and well cooked
  5. Serve hot
