Desserts are hard to resist, don’t you agree? Especially, when it involves chocolate. An instant-crowd pleaser, anything to do with chocolates is simply too hard to refuse. Anyone can succumb to their chocolate cravings. No matter how much of a fitness enthusiast we may be or how healthy we eat, we can’t help but feast on some delicious chocolatey desserts. And it seems like some of our favourite Bollywood celebrities are no different. Actress Deepika Padukone, for instance, is the latest one to give us major foodie goals as she took to Instagram to share one of the drool-worthy desserts she indulged in. Can you guess what it was?
Deepika indulged in a decadent multi-layered chocolate cake. The Gehraiyaan actor shared a picture on Instagram, and we are slurping just looking at it. Take a look at the photograph:
In the picture shared by Deepika, we can see a slice of a rich and indulgent chocolate cake on a plate. The cake had multiple layers with buttercream frosting generously slathered in between them. We could also spot a cup of tea in the background of the photograph. Well, chocolate cake and tea look like a great combo. The caption of Deepika’s post seems to hint that she enjoyed this tasty dessert after a long time. “I missed you Linda,” she wrote, along with the hashtag #iykyk, which means ‘if you know, you know’. The actress seems to have used the term to convey an inside joke! Her husband, actor Ranveer Singh was one of the firsts to react on the post, and he left a slurping emoji on the picture.
Deepika has confessed her love for desserts time and again, especially with chocolates. A few months ago, the actress had shared yet another picture of her mouth-watering sweet treat - another chocolate cake paired with vanilla ice cream. “BASIC”, she wrote along with the hashtags #chocolatecake and #icecream in the post.
Last year too, Deepika shared a video of herself enjoying delicious chocolates to some dramatic music. “Send this to a chocolate lover,” she wrote in the caption.
