Which gift do you think is Deepika Padukone’s favourite amongst the ones she has ever been gifted in her life? No it’s not designer shoes, or clothes or expensive handbags. It’s something that only a true foodie can relate to. It’s something to eat, which when consumed melts all your troubles away. Deepika loves this treat and has frequently posted about it on her social media. Still can’t guess what it is?
The best gift in the whole world for Deepika is chocolate! Deepika has even gone on record to say this. She recently shared a reel to her social media in which she can be seen holding a chocolate bar over her head and declaring it to be the best gift of the decade. She can be heard saying, “This is not just the best gift of the day, the month or the week… it’s the best gift of the decade.” Deepika’s reel features her at Cannes, during the recent film festival that was hosted in the city. In the beginning of the reel, someone gifts Deepika a chirping bird toy, to which she reacts by smiling. In the next few frames, Deepika demands for her real gift - something other than the bird toy that she was previously given. As she does this, Ranveer Singh can be seen laughing in the video and cheering Deepika on. After her insistence, to Deepika’s utter delight, she’s finally handed out a chocolate bar which she grabs and dances with. She gradually proceeds to distribute the chocolate bars and share her happiness with members of her team.
Deepika’s love for chocolate isn’t new. She previously also posted a video enjoying a chocolate bar and captioned it, “send this to a chocolate lover.” In the video, Deepika relishes the chocolate bar and licks her fingers after eating the entire chocolate. Ranveer has also left an adorable comment on Deepika’s video. The comment reads, “Aaja tujhe godh mein baithake Nutella khilaun.”

Ingredients:
- Flour(maida) – 4tbsp
- Cocoa powder – 1 tbsp
- Coffee Powder – 1tsp
- Sugar(fine grain) – 3tbsp
- Baking powder – 1tsp
- Butter(melted, salted) – 1½ tbsp
- Vanilla Extract – few drops
- Milk (room temp) – 6-7 tbsp
- Chocolate chips/chunks – ½ cup
Method :
- In a large mug mix all the ingredients except chocolate chips. Mix well. Next, add the chocolate chips and whisk again.
- Place the mug in a microwave. Press the microwave option, select high heat and cook the cake for 3mins. Remove and serve warm, hot or cold.
