Chicken Chatkara, as its name suggests, is a flavourful and masaledar chicken dish made with Indian aromatic spices and herbs. This dish is not your regular curry dish but qualifies to be a perfect starter for your dinner parties. It can also go well with your favourite cocktails. Believe me! It is made up of basic ingredients found in kitchen. First marinated in spices and then fried till perfection, chicken chatkara is something that you would not like to miss at any cost. Chicken Chatkara
Ingredients
- 500 gm chicken
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp cumin (roasted)
- 1 tbsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp ajwain seeds
- Pinch of red food colour
- 1 tbsp chili flakes (crushed)
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- 1 tsp green chili sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- Fresh coriander
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Method
- Take boneless chicken pieces in a bowl and add ginger garlic paste to it.
- Add all dry spices and mix them well.
- Add corn flour, salt and fresh coriander. Mix well.
- Let it marinate for at least 2 hours.
- When done, fry it in hot oil and don’t stir it while frying.
- When attained a beautiful colour, strain the pieces and serve them with tangy green chutney.
