- 400 gms of drained canned chickpeas
- 500 gms of lean chicken ground (chicken mince)
- 2 tbsps of tomato chutney or 2 tsps of mango chutney
- 1 egg (gently beaten)
- 3 tbsps of flour
- 2 spring onions (chopped finely)
- 2 tbsps of curry powder
- Seasoning with salt and pepper to taste
- The chickpeas should be chopped up very finely using a food processor.
- Mix in the chicken, spring onions, curry powder, chutney and salt and pepper to taste.
- Using a 1/3 cup measure, shape the mixture into patties.
- The patties should be cooked for approximately 4 mins on each side on a lightly oiled grill plate.
