Gorilla Tango Novelty Meats offers a unique hotdog that weighs 3.18kgs, and is priced at $40 (₹3,158 approx). It made the first world record on March 21, 2011. Isn’t that amazing? According to bighotdog.com, it includes one big hotdog, a big bun, oodles of ketchup and mustard sauce. Sounds simple and super delicious, right? Speaking about the big hotdog, the owner at Gorilla Tango Novelty Meats said, “What inspired me to make the biggest hotdog was the inherent problem with small hotdogs. I wanted to make a hotdog that pops the grill and doesn’t fall around. In order to make that, we made a big hotdog that could be sliced and put in a grill with two flat sides.”
He also revealed how the company caters to people from all age groups, from kids who want the biggest hotdog for their birthday party to older people having it at their retirement party. “People just keep it in their fridge and keep slicing it to eat through the day,” he added.
