  • First day: Goddess Shailputri is worshipped on the foremost day of Navratri. Homemade ghee made from cow's milk is offered to the goddess on this day.

  • Sixth day: Worship of Goddess Katyayani leads to attain Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. Maa Katyayani is pleased by offering sweet betel leaves.
  • Seventh-day: Kalratri is worshipped on this day. Worshipping this goddess gives freedom from ghosts and spirits and removes all sorrows. One can offer jaggery and dry fruits laddoos to the goddess.
  • Eighth day: On the eighth day, goddess Mahagauri is worshipped. Offering coconut on this day brings happiness and prosperity to the house. Hence you can easily make coconut laddus at home.
  • Ninth day: Maa Siddhidatri is worshipped on the ninth day of Navratri and is said to be the goddess who governs the world. So sesame laddus are offered to the goddess on this day with faithfulness.
