Chaitra Navratri 2022: 9 Prasads To Offer Goddess Durga

Navratri has already started, and this holy festival lasts for nine days. It is believed that the desired wishes are fulfilled by worshipping the nine goddesses duly. On this occasion, lets you know what kind of prasads are offered to the goddess.

  • First day: Goddess Shailputri is worshipped on the foremost day of Navratri. Homemade ghee made from cow's milk is offered to the goddess on this day.
  • Second day: Goddess Brahmacharini is idolised on the second day of Navratri. You can offer any white sweet such as kaju barfi to the goddess.
  • Third day: On this day, milk or items made of milk should be offered to Goddess Chandraghanta. You can also offer jaggery and red apple as it also destroys evil forces.
  • Fourth day: Goddess Kushmanda is worshipped on this day, and one gets freedom from complex diseases by honouring them with their favourite prasad. Therefore, you should offer Malpua to the Goddess on this day.
  • Fifth day: On this day, worshipping Goddess Skandmata fulfils all the wishes of the devotees. Offer fruits to the goddess on the fifth day of Navratri and donate them. Also, on this day, offer six cardamoms to the goddess to increase intellect.
  • Sixth day: Worship of Goddess Katyayani leads to attain Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha. Maa Katyayani is pleased by offering sweet betel leaves.
  • Seventh-day: Kalratri is worshipped on this day. Worshipping this goddess gives freedom from ghosts and spirits and removes all sorrows. One can offer jaggery and dry fruits laddoos to the goddess.
  • Eighth day: On the eighth day, goddess Mahagauri is worshipped. Offering coconut on this day brings happiness and prosperity to the house. Hence you can easily make coconut laddus at home.
  • Ninth day: Maa Siddhidatri is worshipped on the ninth day of Navratri and is said to be the goddess who governs the world. So sesame laddus are offered to the goddess on this day with faithfulness.
