The Cannes Film Festival is among the biggest annual events that celebrates movies across countries and genres. This year, it will be held between May 14, 2024 to May 25, 2024. The event calls for celebrities around the globe to put their best foot forward when it comes to fashion, and this year, actors like Kiara Advani, Aditi Rao Hyadri, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan among others will be representing India at Cannes.

Indian Dishes Served At Cannes 2024
This year, India will be hosting Bharat Parv at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, allowing Indian celebrities and talents to mingle and connect with artists around the world. According to an exclusive by the Time of India, the menu will comprise umami flavours from North as well as South India.
The dinner will include delicacies like khad sweet potato and khad turbot served with Malabar parotta. Jicama and coconut malai momo will accompany passion fruit thukpa, charred corn chaat, and ponkha. Among other dishes for vegetarians, Kashmiri morel, black garlic pulao, and toor dal will make it to the spread. Cacao-based desserts, rabri with roselle sorbet, will be a part of the spread to celebrate the vastness of cacao farms in South India.
The menu for starters looks equally interesting with puranpoli tart, makai mathri, lal maas pao, and prawn ver masala tart. Dishes in the main course will include butternut and asparagus squash moilee, mushroom bhutwa with potato foam, turmeric-infused coconut milk, and a few regional dishes from the cuisine of Uttarakhand.
Among lamb-based dishes, yakhni will be served with yoghurt-based gravy prepared with cardamom and Kashmiri fennel. It will be accompanied by katlam and morel miso rice.
Bar Menu At Cannes 2024
According to the report, the bar menu will also be exclusive and exciting. Indian single malt Godawan with cherry cask, Himalayan Old Fashioned made with black label, vodka with Mahabaleshwar strawberry, milk, and vanilla soda, and Himalayan multiflora honey and bitters will be served.
Apart from this, a variety of other drinks will be served to guests at Cannes 2024, including Darjeeling tea, gin, Bollywood Margarita, Bombay spice mix, Rhododendron nectar, Hapusa Himalayan dry gin, Baileys Irish cream, and more.
Whether Indian or any other celebrity, it is an understatement to say that they will be in gastronomic heaven at Cannes 2024.
