Alia Bhatt is currently riding high both in her personal and professional life. While she is all set for one of the biggest Bollywood films of her career - Brahmastra - to hit the screens soon, she just wrapped up her first Hollywood project - Heart Of Gold - with Gal Gadot. On the other hand, the actor is also expecting her first child with husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor. So, it is safe to say, all’s great in Alia’s life.

The actor is a mass favourite, who has never failed to make sure her fans and followers know every bit of detail of her life. So, from her on-the-set updates to her daily diets and, of course, her food indulgences, the actor shares it all. And if you don’t know yet, the Highway star is a complete foodie. While the actor is often seen eating her heart out, she definitely balances it with some healthy treats too. In her latest update, as the first song from Brahmastra was set to release, Alia teased her fans about an Instagram live in a foodie way. On Sunday, Alia was to go live on Instagram with director Ayan Mukerji, before which she shared a picture of a plate full of freshly peeled pieces of orange. She wrote ‘#Kesariya’ on the picture, referring to the colour of the fruit. She added ‘See you live in a few!!!!’ Take a look:

Isn’t that sweet? Kesariya is the name of a song from Ayan’s directorial Brahmastra, which brings Alia and Ranbir together for the first time on screen, besides actors Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. The song was released on Sunday and has been liked by their fans and followers. It seems like Alia started her special day with a plateful of orange chunks, and we think there is no better way than that, keeping in mind the many health benefits.

Low in calories, oranges can be your best friend in weight management. Besides, oranges are filled with Vitamin C which helps in clearing the skin of any unwanted marks and makes your skin healthy. It also boosts immunity due to the presence of antioxidants and Vitamin C. Ascorbic acid and beta-carotene present in oranges play a vital role in relieving the body of any unwanted radicals that may lead to a higher risk of cancer. One can consume oranges through salads, juices, chaats, and more - but we suggest going the Alia way.
