A popular Breakfast which is mostly found as a street food in India. It is filled with potatoes, onions, tomatoes, capsicum and cheddar cheese. Served with green chutney or ketchup.
STEP 1.In a mixing bowl take 2 boiled potatoes and mash them, then add ½ chopped onion,¼ chopped capsicum and 1 tbsp coriander.
STEP 2.Add ½ tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp chaat masala and ¼ tsp salt.
STEP 3.Mix everything well.
STEP 4.Now take 2 slices of bread and at one side spread 1 tbsp tomato sauce and 1 tbsp green chutney on each slice of bread.
STEP 5.Spread a tbsp of prepared potato mix over the bread slice.
STEP 6.Place tomato slices over potato mix and sprinkle crushed black pepper.
STEP 7.Add the grated cheddar cheese generously over the sandwich.
STEP 8.Cover with another slice of bread and press gently with your palms.
STEP 9.Roast the sandwich with butter on both sides and cut the bread in half.
STEP 10.Serve hot to enjoy a cheesy potato sandwich
