Pineapple Jam Recipe

Cooking Directions

• STEP 1.Peel and core fresh pineapples, then chop them into small pieces.
• STEP 2.In a large pot, combine the chopped pineapples, sugar, and lemon juice.
• STEP 3.Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the pineapples are soft and the sugar has dissolved.
• STEP 4.Using a blender or immersion blender, puree the mixture until smooth.
• STEP 5.Return the puree to the pot and continue cooking over low heat, stirring frequently, until the jam thickens.
• STEP 6.Once the desired consistency is reached, remove the pot from the heat and let the jam cool.
• STEP 7.Transfer the jam to sterilized jars and seal tightly.
• STEP 8.Store the jars in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
