Chicken Soup is the ideal recipe for a snack or a light dinner.
It has many vegetables into it making it a very healthy recipe.
Ideal for kids and elderly people too.
Best enjoyed with croutons or momo or thukpa.
Ingredients For CHICKEN SOUP (with croutons) Recipe
6 Pieces Few pieces of chicken with bones
1 Pieces Bay leaf
1 Tsps Oil
0.25 Cup carrot chopped
0.25 Cup beans chopped
0.25 Cup capsicum chopped
0.25 Cup sweetcorn
0.25 Cup Spring onions chopped
As Required Salt
1 Pieces Egg
2 Tsps Pepper powder
Directions : CHICKEN SOUP (with croutons) Recipe
STEP 1.Heat oil in cooker.
STEP 2.Temper with bayleaf and then add the chicken pieces and fry till brown.
STEP 3.Add about a litter water and close the lid and cook for 10 minutes in med flame.
STEP 4.Let it cool down completely...then open the lid and remove the chicken pieces.
STEP 5.Shred the cooked flesh from the bones and keep aside.
STEP 6.Meanwhile add all the vegetables, salt into the cooker with chicken stock.
STEP 7.Cover the cooker lightly and cook on med for 6 minutes.
STEP 8.Then add the chicken shreds and pepper powder and let it cook further.
STEP 9.When nearly done, check the seasoning and then Crack an egg over it and quickly stir into the soup.
STEP 10.Chicken soup is ready to be served with croutons or momos or even thukpa.
STEP 11.Best served piping hot.
