This recipe was developed after tasting a pie at a friend's house. I then put together the ingredients i thought were in the pies and have been perfecting them ever since. The meat and veggies are slow cooked first with the guinness for at least 8 hours. The base pastry is a boiled pastry and the lids are make with commercially produced puff pastry. You can make small pies or one large family pie. Delicious with mashed potato and veggies.
