- 250 gm Chocolate

- Line parchment paper or aluminum foil in a 6x6 inch square pan. Make sure that the parchment paper or foil covers all the sides. Also, try keeping some extra space on the sides of the pan so that lift the fudge easily when it is set.
- Chop the chocolate and set it aside.
- Add the chopped chocolate to a pan.
- Add 200 gm sweetened condensed milk
- Add 1 tbsp butter
- Heat about 1.5 cups of water in another pan or pot on high heat till the water begins to boil
- Lower the heat and place the bowl containing chopped chocolate, condensed milk, and butter on the pan or pot of water. (You can also melt the chocolate in a microwave)
- Soon after keeping the pan, you will see that the chocolate has started to melt
- Stir well till the chocolate has melted completely
- Keeping stirring the mixture
- When the chocolate is done, turn off the flame
- Add nuts and vanilla extract
- After mixing well, pour the mixture into the aluminium foil or parchment paper
- Let the fudge first cool at room temperature. Make sure you do not cover the pan
- When the chocolate fudge has cooled at room temperature, cover the pan and refrigerate it for 2-3 hours or overnight till it sets
- When set, remove the fudge and cut it into square or rectangle pieces
- You can serve them right away or store them in a jar or container as they stay good for a month in the fridge
