As soon as you get up in the morning, what is the first thing that you think about? Work, weekend or maybe what to make for breakfast. For tea and coffee lovers, it is quite the opposite. These drinks are like fuel to their body and their brain starts functioning only once they’ve had their morning cup of tea or coffee respectively. However, it is hard to find those who love both these rival drinks equally. Seems like Bollywood has given us one such personality. We’re talking about Mira Kapoor. The Delhi-based girl tied the knot with actor Shahid Kapoor a few years back and is a mom and an influencer today. Another thing that this lady is a hard-core foodie.

From her Amritsar stay to Dubai girl’s trip, we loved watching her drool-worthy spreads. Amidst all these ups and downs in last few years, what we have noticed is her love for coffee. She has often posted pictures of her cup of morning drink on her Instagram stories. However, we also spotted her drinking tea quite a few times too. Now, we’re confused if she likes tea or coffee more. What we do know is that currently she’s functioning on her sipper filled with tea. While sitting in the car and going off to some place, she has this portable colourful sipper that she was seen carrying last morning. She captioned it saying, “Good morning #justmeandmytea”. This comes as a surprise because we were expecting tea.

Here’s what we are talking about.

Since summers are here in full swing, we bet you wouldn’t feel like indulging in a hot cup of tea so we have these delicious iced tea recipes that you can try this season.

1.  Iced Watermelon Lemon Tea

The classic lemon-flavoured iced tea is a saviour in summers. The citrusy flavour really brings a respite but this time, try adding some watermelon to it. The refreshing summer fruit is full of water and a sweet puree of the same added to a glass of iced tea really takes things a notch higher.

2.  Lemongrass Mint Iced Tea

The fragrant lemongrass is tossed with some honey and mint-flavoured tea in water for a night. This is then added to the glass of iced tea and popped in with some ice cubes. With a garnish of mint leaves, your refreshing drink is ready.

3.  Cranberry Mint Iced Tea

The freshly-squeezed juice of cranberry mixed with aromatic mint leaves lends a delicious flavour to the iced tea. Add some sugar for the sweetness and the bright red drink will leave you amazed.

4.  Peach Basil Iced Tea

Ripe peaches are squeezed into some tea bags to add to the essence of the drink. Basil leaves are added to the drink to give it a sense of freshness. Both the essential ingredients of this iced tea are quite refreshing and relaxing. Pop in some ice cubes for a chilled and delicious experience and we are sure you’ll be transported to the beach in a few minutes.
