Kalga is a village located in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is in the Parvati Valley, at an elevation of roughly 2,280 metres, and is surrounded by mountains. Barshaini is the closest bus stop. During the months of April to July, the town attracts large tourists and is a short detour on the hike to Kheerganga. The Parvati Valley is located in Himachal Pradesh, a state in northern India. The Parvati Valley flows eastwards from the town of Bhuntar in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh in Northern India, via a steep-sided valley, from the confluence of the Parvati River with the River Beas. The fact that Kalga is not connected to any roadways demonstrates its isolation. It provides spectacular alpine panoramas of snow-capped mountains, while friendly hospitality and delectable pahaadi food make staying in the bitterly cold surroundings worthwhile. There are numerous apple orchards and jungle trails to explore while taking in the calm of this enchanting town.
