Actress Anushka Sharma maybe one of the fittest actresses in tinsel town right now, but she has never shied away from flaunting her foodie side. Remember, how she donned the hat of a ‘biscuit reviewer’ in London and gave us her honest, hilarious take on all the biscuits she tried? Now, the actress is dug out the best ‘ Delhi wale chole bhature’ for her husband Virat Kohli in Mumbai.

Now, for the uninitiated, ace cricketer and former Indian captain Virat Kohli hails from Delhi, and one of the dishes he misses fondly is the authentic Chole Bhature. Chole Bhature is a popular Punjabi snack which comprises a puffy bread made of refined flour and yeast called Bhatura, the deep fried bhatura is paired with spicy and tantalising chickpea curry, pickles, onions and potatoes often feature on the side. Not that there is a dearth of Chole Bhature places in Mumbai, but none quite as good to appease Kohli. But finally, Anushka found a place, with the help of comedian Abhishek Upmanyu and she is more than thrilled.

Calling it a “BIG day at home”, she wrote, “Finally, after what seemed like a never ending search (Honestly I had given up) for Ekdum-Delhi-jaise-Chole-bhature in Mumbai, I am more than happy to announce that this search has ended and I have given my husband ecstatic joy.”

If you recall on the episode of Breakfast With Champions with Gaurav Kapoor, Virat had admitted that his one favourite cheat meal is Ram ke Chole Bhature in West Delhi, Anushka also wrote in her caption that chole Bhature is one cheat meal “he has no guilt over” and that he even watches Delhi chole bhature videos in his free time! Relatable much? Further thanking comedian Abhishek Upmanyu for his Instagram story a couple of days back, she revealed the name of the Chole Bhature place that has now been approved by Virat Kohli too.

The name of the place is ‘Delhi Se’ and it is located in Chembur. The place also served Amritsari choley and Parathas. And now that, Anushka has finally unearthed this place, the ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ actor sits with pride, hoping,  Virat’s “Nak Chade” and ‘”snobbish” reactions to Mumbai’s Chole Bhature can stop now.
