I love breakfast buffets, however the last breakfast buffet I went to had what the called a 'set menu'. They notified us in advance that the buffet is usually bigger in size but due to COVID protocols they have reduced the number of items. At firts I was shocked to see no cold cuts, and a round later I realise ther isn't much for non-vegetarian people at all save for an onmelette. And then I turned around again, despite its limitations , the buffet was still brimming with most of the food that I do consume for breakfast after all. Foods like poha, uttapam, idli et al not only had takers, but also refill requests, which led me to believe that like me, there are many other people who like to savour something light, vegetarian and appetising for breakfast.
