In Maharashtra, people traditionally enjoy eating this chilli chutney with jowar roti or pithla bhakri. Thecha is prepared in groundnut oil by combining some of the primary ingredients that include chilli pepper (usually green chillies), peanuts with lots of garlic cloves and a multitude of other spices.
