Over the years, Bollywood actor Kiara Advani has carved a place for herself in the industry and in the hearts of people with her acting talent and her foodie adventures. It is often said that ‘all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’, and seems like Kiara agrees, except that she substitutes play for food.
There have been several occasions during work and shoots that the actor has been spotted with good food. Don’t believe us? Kiara is currently in Ahmedabad for some shoot, and we couldn’t help but catch her eating a huge Gujarati thali in the city. The foodie actor gorged on a lavish regional spread, served on a large steel plate with several small serving bowls. The bowls were filled with all sorts of kadhis and sabzis, right from the Gujarati kadhi to the batata nu shaak and more. On the plate, one could find rice, roti and papad, along with accompaniments like achar and chutneys.
At the corner, we could also spot some white dhoklas covered with loads of sev and we’re guessing that was her appetiser before beginning her elaborate meal. She tagged the location as Ahmedabad, Gujarat and we know she was having a gala time with the traditional food. However, this isn’t the first instance of Kiara’s indulgence. Earlier, while shooting for Jugjugg Jeeyo, we saw Kiara with her co-actor Varun Dhawan and team, relishing a desi lunch consisting of palak paneer, dal makhani, butter chicken, and tandoori roti.
In fact, the two actors were also caught eating vada pav in the Mumbai metro during the promotions of their film and called themselves “privileged”, as no one is allowed to eat inside the metro. She was shooting for Satya Prem Katha sometime ago and we saw her gorging on fried snacks in-between shoots. There was a plate of buns and puffs and she wrote, “Katha’s diet on the sets of #satyapremkikatha”.
