At 53, Bhagyashree is one of the fittest actors of her generation. Known for her fitness regime and healthy eating habits, she keeps her fans and followers engaged in social media with tips for workout and well-being. However, a lesser-known fact about Bhagyashree is that she is quite a foodie.

She does not miss out on good food at the cost of dieting. While the actor does follow a strict diet regime, she knows how to balance it out with her cravings. On Mondays, we usually see her digging into a vibrant bowl of salad, adding colours to the Monday blues. However, when she’s vacationing, there’s nothing like a dietary pattern she follows.

The Maine Pyaar Kiya actor is currently in Kathmandu, Nepal. She posted an AMA where she asked her followers to guess where she was travelling and most of them guessed it right. Next, we saw a picture of a plateful of momos with a spicy chutney on the side. Set against the backdrop of a lovely garden, the steamed momos looked just the perfect treat for the pleasant weather.

For the unversed, momos are dumplings filled with a minced meat or vegetable filling, served with a fiery chutney. The Tibetan dumplings act as a precursor in the invention of these momos. These are available in different parts of the country today, as a quick street snack. This isn’t the first time that Bhagyashree has satiated her cravings.

Apart from being a foodie, she is a chef too. A few months ago, she was in Rajasthan with her husband and we saw the couple making the famous Rajasthani kachori in an open kitchen setup. The end result was absolutely lip-smacking. The kachori is then accompanied by tamarind chutney and some green chillies. During Navratri, she was making sabudana khichdi and this one time we even saw her preparing a classic Maharashtrian delicacy for lunch, pav bhaji.
