Unlike before, sportspeople remain under strict scrutiny these days. From what they eat to who they travel with, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the cricket administrative body, notes everything. Ahead of the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 UAE, the BCCI issued a 10-point diktat in the wake of team India’s unsatisfactory performance in the last Australia tour.
The new guidelines prohibit players from travelling with their personal staff like security guards, chefs, and assistants unless the BCCI has approved the special request. While the players are trying to follow these guidelines, Virat Kohli was recently found to be enjoying a special food delivery.

Virat Kohli Enjoys Special Food Delivery In UAE
According to the Times of India, Virat Kohli was witnessed speaking to the team’s local manager for at least 15 minutes before he boarded the bus after an intense practice session of three hours. When he was returning, it was noted that he had a bag containing a food delivery from a popular eatery in Dubai.
The report pointed out that the paper bag had a few boxes of food items that Kohli often enjoys after practising sessions. “While the others packed their kit bags, Kohli was refuelling and even saved a box for the road,” read the report further.
Virat Kohli’s Favourite Places To Eat In Dubai
Virat Kohli is a die-hard foodie, and his past interviews are proof. While the sportsman follows a plant-based diet, he has never shied away from indulging in lip-smacking delicacies. He is disciplined about what he eats and at what time, but he ensures that his meals are nutritious so that the athlete receives all the nutrition he needs.
Slurrp searched about a few places that Virat Kohli loves to visit. He has been spotted quite a few times relishing delicious food at Chawlas Restaurant situated in Business Bay. Its menu features North Indian dishes and delicacies inspired by the foodscape of Delhi, the capital of India.
Another restaurant where Kohli frequents is Delhi Highway Restaurant. If anyone were to take a guess, you can take a person out of Delhi but you cannot take away their love for the regional food. Specialising in vegetarian dishes like chhole bhature, dal makhani, chaat, paneer dishes, and more, it is no surprise that the cricketer loves to dine here.
