If you ask us, we love tomato ketchup with almost everything - fries, chips, pakodas, noodles, and even parathas and idlis. Be it the condiment made with fresh tomatoes or the spicy chilli version, our love for ketchup knows no bounds. But at the same time, we absolutely hate it when a drop of ketchup falls on our clothes, leaving a stain that is too hard to remove.

Well, it seems like a ketchup brand is trying to turn the stubborn ketchup stains into a fashion statement. Heinz has introduced a new clothing line with real ketchup stains on it. According to a Daily Mail report, the condiment giant has collaborated with a US-based clothing line, and named the new collection ‘Vintage Drip’. It is currently available only in the US in sizes XXS to XXL.

Explaining the campaign, a report published in the Promo Marketing magazine stated that the word ‘drip’ in ‘Vintage Drip’ relates to the word ‘drop’, referring to a drop of ketchup. In the US, the word ‘drip’ is also a colloquial term for ‘style’. The limited edition consists of 157 vintage pieces, stained with real Heinz ketchup. The brand took to YouTube to announce the news with a quirky video. According to them, the drop of ketchup on the cloth is “not a stain, but a statement” for all. Take a look at the video:

The video instantly took over the internet, as people were left talking about the ‘unique idea’ and a rather quirky fashion statement. The news was also shared on Twitter by the company. The tweet read, "It's not a stain. It's a statement. Thrifted clothing from thredUP, all with Heinz ketchup stains. Visit https://thredup.com/heinz to shop the collection, and show off your stains with #HeinzVintageDrip.”
