Climate change is real, and 2022 has showed it to not just India but many other countries across the world. With temperatures riding to more than 39 degrees in even UK, we don’t know what the extremes are anymore. The usual weather patterns are all upside down, the average trends in weather reports across the world are being shattered. In Europe and Britain, the conditions are close to the heatwave India has experienced, and it is alarming, to say the least. The UK recorded the hottest day in its history on July 18 at a scorching temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. And while it is concerning for sure, many people tried to give it a hilarious take. A man decided to document this hot and historic day by cooking breakfast outdoors using the sun's heat! Yes, you read that right. Believe it or not, his meal actually got cooked without a gas stove, just with the heat. Well, we can imagine the heatwave now!

According to a report by the Mirror, Danny Shaw, a 30-year-old from West Yorkshire attempted this bizarre experiment, and recorded it in a video. The video, wherein he is seen cooking breakfast by layering some strips of bacon and cracking open an egg on the hot surface, went viral in no time. It was widely shared on social media and left internet users stunned. In the clip, we could see him using his metal fridge as a flat base to cook breakfast. "Cooking breakfast on a fridge in the English sun, it cooked today," he wrote in the caption.

About 30 minutes later, he came back and checked on the eggs and they were perfectly cooked! Even the bacon strips seemed to have become ready to be eaten. A host of reactions poured into the video which garnered nearly a million views. Shocking, isn’t it?

Well, what is happening in the UK, has happened in India too. The months of April-June were particularly harsh for Indians as a severe heatwave hit the country. And of course, Indians too cooked a lot during it! From a car bonnet to bike, all of it was used to cook rotis, etc. In the month of April, a woman from Odisha cooked Rotis or Indian flatbread on her car's bonnet amidst the searing heat. The results of the video left the internet stunned. Read more about it here
