Fruity And Fab: Healthy Dragon Fruit Popsicle, Anyone?

Known for its vividly described colours, dragon fruit has been gaining immense recognition these days. This is just not because of its distinguishing taste or appearance but because of its ample health benefits too.   

Also known as pitahaya, pitaya, and strawberry pear, this tropical fruit grows on a climbing cactus called Hylocereus. It is of bright pink colour and green scales that resemble dragon and this is from where it has got its name.   • 2 cups whole milk 
  • 1 dragon fruit 
  • 1 lemon  
  • 1 mango 
  • 2 tsp honey 


  • Take a grinder and add whole milk, dragon fruit cubes, and mango cubes. 
  • Add honey and also squeeze a lemon. 
  • Grind everything together until it is smooth and creamy. 
  • When done, pour the mixture into the popsicle mould. 
  • Place the mould in the freezer for 30 minutes. 
  • Let it freeze for 5 to 6 hours or overnight. 
  • Enjoy the next day.
