The 5 Delightful Yoghurt Cocktails For Every Occasion

Yoghurt Berry Cocktail 

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup of plain yoghurt 
  • 1/2 cup of mixed berries  
  • 1 tablespoon of honey  
  • 1/4 cup of orange juice 
  • Ice cubes 
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish  

Method 

  • In a blender, combine the plain yoghurt, mixed berries, honey, and orange juice. Blend until smooth.    
  • Then add a handful of ice cubes to the blender and pulse until a slushy consistency is obtained. 
  • Pour the yoghurt-berry cocktail into glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and enjoy. 

Boozy Smoothie 

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups canned sweetened mango pulp  
  • 1½ cups plain yoghurt  
  • ¾ cup milk  
  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom 
  • 90 ml white rum  
  • 30 ml of orange liqueur sugar

Garnish 

  • ground cardamom 
  • saffron chilli threads

Method  

  • Place all the ingredients into a blender and blitz until combined. 
  • Pour into glasses and serve immediately. 

Banana Colada 

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed 
  • 120 ml cream of coconut 
  • 180 ml rum 
  • 120 ml banana liqueur 
  • 3 cups of crushed ice 

Method 

  • In a blender, combine bananas, cream of coconut, rum, banana liqueur, and ice. 
  • Blend until smooth.  
  • Pour into glasses and serve immediately. 

Mimosa Smoothie 


Ingredients 

  • 1 cup of orange juice 
  • 1 cup frozen, diced pineapple 
  • 1 banana, sliced and frozen 
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yoghurt 
  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk 
  • 2 cups of chilled champagne 

Method 

  • Add orange juice, frozen pineapple, frozen banana, Greek yoghurt, and coconut milk to a blender.  Pulse until smooth. 
  • Add in the champagne and stir briefly until combined. 
  • Garnish with fresh pineapple slices and serve. 

Greek Yoghurt Fizz 

Ingredients

  • 2 shots of vodka 
  • 1 shot of lemon juice 
  • 1 shot of orange juice 
  • Handful of fresh mint, chopped 
  • 7 teaspoons of honey syrup 
  • 2 egg whites 
  • 1 teaspoon Greek yoghurt 
  • Ice

Method

  • Chop the mint leaves, place some leaves at the bottom of each glass and put the remaining leaves into a cocktail shaker. 
  • In the shaker, combine the vodka, lemon juice, orange juice, and 6 tablespoons of honey syrup with ice. Shake well until chilled. Let it sit for a few minutes.  
  • Pour in the egg whites, 1 teaspoon honey syrup, and yoghurt. Shake vigorously for a minute until the mixture is very frothy. Gently spoon the froth onto the top of the cocktails and enjoy.
