Sweet And Sour Recipes For Preparing Aam Panna At Home

Drinking aam panna is beneficial for health as it is rich in antioxidants, Vitamin C and works well to boost immunity. In summer, a glass of aam panna reduces fatigue, provides energy to the body, and protects from heatstroke. Today, we will tell you about aam panna recipes that can be made in two ways. The remarkable thing about it is that it can be easily created and stored for a few days. So, let’s find out how this healthy summer drink can be made.

Healthy Summer Drink

With the onset of summer, mango is used in many ways. To make aam panna, wash half a kilo of raw mangoes, put it in a pressure cooker with water, keep it on the gas and wait for a whistle. After the whistle, open the cooker's lid and take out the mangoes. Now, please put it in a bowl with three cups of water. When it cools down, take out its pulp and peel its kernels. Finally, divide the pulp water into two parts to make sweet and sour aam panna.

Khatta Aam Panna Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Coriander leaves - half cup
  2. Mango pulp - 1st part
  3. Roasted cumin - 1 tsp
  4. Mint leaves - half cup
  5. Chaat masala - 1 tsp
  6. Black salt - 1 tsp
  7. Hot chilli - 2
  8. Salt - 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Mix mint, coriander leaves and green chilli for chutney; prepare a paste of these three things and keep it in a bowl.
  2. Now, put the mango panna in the blender and mix a spoonful of chutney with it, combining salt, chaat masala, coarsely roasted ground cumin and blending it well.
  3. Fill this mixture in a glass bottle and keep it in the fridge. 
  4. Whenever you feel like drinking it, put a cup of aam panna in a glass, mixing ice cubes and water in it. 
  5. Now enjoy aam panna chilled.

Meetha Aam Panna Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Mango pulp - 2nd part
  2. Roasted cumin - 1 tsp
  3. Chaat masala - 1 tsp
  4. Black salt - 1 tsp
  5. Sugar - 4 tsp
  6. Salt - 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Mix the second part the same way we blended the first part of the aam panna.
  2. Make a thick paste, fill it in a glass bottle and keep it in the fridge.
  3. Whenever you feel like drinking sweet aam panna, put 1/4th of it in the glass and enjoy it by mixing a cup of water with some ice cubes.
  4. Tasty and sweet aam panna is ready to be served.
