Just some food, rocking music and rattling dance moves is what you need. Though it need not be very fancy but requires a proper planning so that everyone can enjoy. While the menu planning is a task, but when it comes to choosing drinks, there are plenty of cocktails to prepare. These boozy classics can amp up all kinds of celebrations. Just one sip of this alcoholic drink is enough to bring on the celebration vibe. Here are five whiskey cocktail recipes from professional mixologists that can spice up your celebration: 

1. Whiskey Sin By Maai Goa by Mayur Mallik, Senior Mixologist 


Ingredients: 

  • 60 ml whiskey 
  • 4 slices fresh green apple 
  • 5 ml cinnamon syrup 
  • 30 ml sweet & sour

Method: 

  • The first model mix green apple with lime juice then adds whiskey 60ml into the shaker along with cinnamon and ice. 
  • Then shake it well till it's get mixed & served in an old-fashioned glass. 

 2.  Matchoman By The Liquor Store, Belapur by Pritesh Kathuria, Co-founder and FnB Curator 

Ingredients: 

  • 50 ml Woodburn whiskey   
  • 10 ml matcha tea syrup  
  • Coriander leaves 
  • 10 ml egg white

 Method: 

  • Add ice, Woodburn whiskey, egg white and matcha tea syrup in a cocktail shaker and shake it vigorously until mixed well. 
  • Remove the top lid off the cocktail shaker and strain the drink into your choice of glass and garnish a few coriander leaves.

3. Cold War By BOSS Burgers Brews + BBQS by Nilesh Patel, Business Head West Impresario Handmade Restaurants 


Ingredients: 

  • 30 ml whiskey 
  • 30 ml kahlua 
  • 30 ml espresso 
  • 5 ml sugar syrup

Method: 

  • Add ice, whiskey, kahlua, espresso and sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker and shake it vigorously for 20 seconds.  
  • Remove the top lid off the cocktail shaker and strain the drink choice of glass. 
  • Garnish the cocktail with a few espresso/coffee beans.

4. Cinnamon Whiskey Sour By 145 Cafe & Bar by Ishaan Bahl, Founder & CEO 

Ingredients: 

  • 45 ml Jameson whiskey 
  • 15 ml Fireball whiskey 
  • 10 ml lime Juice 
  • 30 ml date syrup 
  • 15 ml egg white 
  • 1 DAB 

Method: 

  • Add all the ingredients to a cocktail shaker and give it a shake and then a dry shake. 
  • Pour the drink in your choice of glass, we have used the rock glass for serving. 
  • Garnish with Lotus Biscoff biscuit and Lotus Biscoff dust.

5. Old Fashioned By Butterfly High, Thane & BKC by  Avril Gonsalves, Head Mixologist, Butterfly High 


Ingredients: 

  • 60 ml whiskey   
  • 10 ml maple syrup 
  • 2 dashes bitters 
  • Marshmallow for garnishing 

 Method: 

Stirred: 

  • Blended Scotch smoked with cherry wood with Bitters and salted caramel syrup served on the rocks over a marshmallow flamed and dipped in whiskey.
