Ever since the couple broke the news on social media, their fans and followers have been showering them with good wishes. From the couple’s pregnancy announcement photos to Sonam’s dreamy baby shower in London, the internet has been drooling over every update about the couple. The Veere Di Wedding actor keeps her over 33 million followers updated and engaged with her pregnancy journey, even about her food cravings.

The actor, who is currently in Mumbai living with her parents Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, had previously shared how she was craving some pizza at midnight, and asked for pizza places recommendations from her followers. This one time she also shared how celebrity baker Pooja Dhingra had come to her rescue when she craved some decadent chocolate cake.

Her latest update is something similar. Sonam took to her Instagram Stories to share a short video of opening a box full of sweet treats, with two yummy-looking loaf cakes drizzled with chocolate on top. While opening the box she said, ‘Oh my god pregnancy cravings’ and added ‘Love you Pooj’, while tagging Pooja, who, perhaps, sent the sweet treats for her. Take a look at the delectable-lookng treat:

Looks heavenly, doesn’t it? No wonder Sonam is having these sweet cravings. However, there are a lot many healthy desserts that any pregnant woman can enjoy when craving some. We’ve got some options right here:

1. Chocolate-covered nuts

If you are craving something sweet, what better than some chocolate to nosh on? And if you can combine healthy with tasty, then why not? Combine the healthy properties of chocolate with the ones from nuts and you’ve got a tasty dessert to enjoy. But make sure to not overeat. Stick to a small handful of nuts. Dark chocolate in moderation is known to reduce blood pressure and risks of some complications, besides improving blood flow to the baby and to the mother. But always consult your doctor before adding anything to the diet.

2. Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

These gluten-free oatmeal raisin cookies are perfect to sate your sweet tooth. The combination of oats, almond flour, raisins and cinnamon make these cookies a great balance of healthy and tasty. And what better than some homemade cookies?

3. Yoghurt Parfait

This one is our own favourite too. The goodness of yoghurt along with fresh fruits, crunchy granola and a drizzle of honey, spells indulgence like nothing else. You can add-in fruits of your choice and experiment with nuts too.
