Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have been ruling the internet ever since they kickstarted their wedding celebrations – first in Delhi and then in Mumbai with their colleagues from the film industry. Their fans and followers are hooked to social media for every little detail about the celebrations. And we have been sharing all the foodie details with you on Slurrp. Right from the Delhi menu that had the city’s staple delicacies - including chole bhature, chaats, and shahi tukda - to the reception in Mumbai that saw guests noshing on gol gappe, we have told you how it was a complete foodie affair.
In the latest update, Richa and Ali revealed their sweet indulgence while they were in Delhi last week for their wedding celebrations. In an Instagram story shared by Richa, we saw a video that featured them lounging with their friends in a hotel suite. We could spot a table filled with all things sweet, and as Richa pans towards Ali, he seems to be super surprised with the sweets.
First, we saw a tray full of fruits - including apples, bananas, and kiwi. Next, there was a decadent-looking chocolate truffle cake that had ‘Congratulations’ written on it. Then, there was a three-tier dessert stand with a fruit tart and a chocolate pastry on top. We could also spot some cinnamon sticks and macarons at the bottom of it. Looks delicious, doesn’t it all? Knowing how Richa loves food, we believe she would’ve enjoyed it all. “Your suite was too sweet”, Richa wrote, while tagging Hotel Claridges. Richa and Ali’s wedding has been nothing short of goals for us – right from Rajouri Garden’s famous chole bhature to Natraj Dahi Bhalle of Chandi Chowk, the menu was a foodie’s paradise.
