Chapati, however, comes out on top when it comes to losing weight. The only significant difference between rice and chapati, in terms of nutritional value, is the sodium content. On the one hand, rice has a very low salt level. On the other hand, 120 grams of chapati contain a shocking 190 mg of sodium.

Main Difference

Chapati is what you should stop eating if you wish to cut down sodium from your diet owing to medical reasons. But why does chapati still work better for losing weight? It turns out that compared to chapati, rice has less nutritional fibre, protein, and fat. Additionally, rice has more calories and does not make you feel as full as two chapatis would.

How Many Chapati Should We Eat Till When

It's important to keep in mind the serving size for either. Chapatis are healthier for weight loss, but that does not imply you should eat too many of them.
