Manchurian To Omelette: 3 Recipes You Can Make With Leftover Noodles

Have you ended up preparing the noodles pot bigger than its sauce? Worry not. As we always miscalculate our noodle to sauce ratio. We know that it is never adequate to justify another spice batch, but throwing the noodles away seems wasteful and stupid. So instead, here are three exciting methods to elevate your leftover noodles and spruce up the dish to a new level.

Maggi Manchurian

Ingredients:

  1. Schezwan chutney - 2 tsp
  2. Capsicum - 1/2 chopped
  3. Leftover Maggi - 2 cups
  4. Bread powder - 1 cup 
  5. Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  6. Chilli powder - 1 tsp 
  7. Chilli sauce - 1 tsp
  8. Onion - 1 chopped
  9. Salt - as per taste
  10. Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  11. Vinegar - 1/2 tsp
  12. Rice flour - 1 tsp

Method:

  1. First of all, keep the leftover maggi in a vessel. Then, add rice flour, onion, chilli powder, schezwan chutney, salt and mix it well.
  2. Now add water (half cup), mix it well, shape them into small balls, put it in bread powder, and cover it well.
  3. Heat oil, add green chilli, capsicum, onion, garlic paste in a pan and fry it well.
  4. After frying for some time, add all the sauce and cook it. After adding maggi balls to this gravy, turn off the gas for some time.
  5. Now put coriander leaves and serve after some time.

Noodle Pakoda

Ingredients:

  1. Green chilli - 2 finely chopped 
  2. Leftover noodle - 2 cups
  3. Onion - 1 finely chopped
  4. Coriander leaves - 1 tsp
  5. Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
  6. Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt - as per taste
  8. Corn Flour - 2 tsp
  9. Besan - 2 tsp
  10. Oil - 1 cup

Method:

  1. First of all, add coriander leaves, chaat masala, green chilli, onion, chilli powder to the leftover noodle and, after mixing, shape it like pakodas.
  2. Prepare a solution by adding gram flour, cornflour, salt, and water to another vessel. Now add the pakodas to this mixture.
  3. After this, heat oil and fry the Maggi pakodas in a pan until golden.
  4. Noodle pakodas are ready to be served with your favourite chutney.

Noodle Omelette

Ingredients:

  1. Tomato and onion - 1 each (finely chopped)
  2. Green chilli - 2 finely chopped
  3. Coriander leaves - 1 tsp
  4. Leftover noodle- 1 cup
  5. Salt - as per taste
  6. Oil - 2 tsp
  7. Eggs - 2

Method:

  1. First, put the egg, onion, tomato, green chilli, coriander leaves, salt in a vessel and mix it well.
  2. Now let the oil heat in a pan. After heating, pour the egg mixture and spread the leftover noodle on top.
  3. After cooking for some time, turn it over, cook the other side, put coriander leaves on top, and switch off the gas.
  4. A tasty noodle omelette is ready to serve.
