Rashmika Mandanna Declares Her Love For Food In A Recent Video

Rashmika Mandanna loves food, period. The actress who has never shyed away from making her love for desserts known in the past, shared a sweet video with her followers on Instagram over the weekend. Captioned ‘Always hungry,’ the actress was seen enjoying meals of sushi, a salad bowl and takeout food, appearing to be content and smiling. She posted the video with a funny background score of ‘Hi! I am always hungry’, reinstating that her true romance lay in enjoying some delightful grub.

Rashmika, who shared a picture of herself holding up a loaded French toast plate a few weeks ago, has been a self-proclaimed food lover for as long as she has been in the limelight. From enjoying over-the-top desserts, to Asian food, she is the personification of the saying ‘Live to eat.’ Her love for food also had her endorsing a popular fried chicken fast food chain, having her fans eat out of her hands (pun not intended).

However, all her indulgences are punctuated with lots of healthy food in-between as the nature of her work dictates she maintain a fit body. From green juices, smoothies, sweet potatoes and grilled fish, the actress also eats lots of fibre and protein-rich foods as part of her daily diet. She was also quoted in an interview saying, “Food is survival. Food is happiness.” And we couldn’t agree with her more! She has been known to reward herself with sugary treats from time to time, for staying on-track with her diet and following a disciplined workout and diet regimen.

Although a handful of food items like white rice, capsicum and refined sugar are a strict no-no in her diet, Rashmika goes all out with her weird food combinations like enjoying biryani with rasam. She also has sheepishly admitted to enjoying crushing spiced potato chips into her Maggi and also eating them as a staple with curd rice. All said and done, a true Coorgi at heart, comfort is synonymous for Rashmika with home-cooked food that her mother serves up.
