RAGI RAVA UPMA

Ingredients

  1. Semolina (Rava) - 1/2 cup
  2. Salt - according to taste
  3. Coriander leaves - 2 tsp
  4. Green chilli - 2 chopped
  5. Curry leaves - 5 to 6
  6. Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
  7. Groundnut - 1/2 tsp
  8. Carrot - 1 chopped
  9. Onion - 1 chopped
  10. Mustard - 1/2 tsp
  11. Ragi flour - 1 cup

How to make ragi rava upma?

  1. First, fry the ragi flour and rava in a pan by adding light oil.
  2. After this, put mustard in a pan. After some time, add asafoetida, curry leaves, onion, green chilli and cook it for two to three minutes.
  3. After three minutes, add carrots, peanuts and fry them well.
  4. After roasting, add roasted ragi flour, semolina, salt, add a cup of water and cook on a medium flame for four or five minutes.
  5. After five minutes, put coriander leaves on it and switch off the gas. Then, delicious ragi rava upma is ready to be served.

RAGI ROTI

Ingredients

  1. Green chilli - 2 finely chopped
  2. Onion - 1 finely chopped
  3. Salt - according to taste
  4. Coriander leaves - 1 tsp
  5. Curry leaves - 1 tsp
  6. Ragi flour - 1 cup
  7. Lukewarm water
  8. Ghee - 3 tsp
  9. Oil - 1/2 cup

How to make ragi roti? 

  1. First, put ragi flour in a vessel with all the ingredients.
  2. After adding all the ingredients, add lukewarm water, knead the dough well, and keep it aside for about 15-20 minutes.
  3. After 20 minutes, grease a vessel, and spread the dough well on your hands like a roti.
  4. Now put ghee in the pan, heat it, and cook the roti well until both sides are golden.
  5. Serve ragi roti with your favourite vegetable or chutney.

RAGI SHEERA

Ingredients

  1. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  2. Ragi flour - 1 cup
  3. Sugar - 1/2 cup
  4. Cashew - 1 tsp
  5. Milk - 1/2 cup
  6. Ghee - 2 tsp

How to make ragi sheera?

  1. First, in the pan, heat ghee and fry the ragi flour well for four to five minutes. 
  2. Now boil milk in another vessel. When the milk starts boiling, put the roasted ragi flour and mix it well.
  3. After some time, add sugar, cardamom powder to it and turn off the gas by stirring it once.
  4. Tasty ragi sheera is ready to be served.
