Quick Desserts You Can Prepare In An Hour

When making elaborate cakes, tarts, and other desserts that take several hours, you could occasionally be in the mood to devote an afternoon to it (or even more than a day). On other days, you require a quicker fix, and that's where these recipes come in. From chocolate chip cookies to even cakes, all of these treats can be made in an hour or less. These are as delicious as they are gorgeous. In this collection, you'll find all types of quick, delectable snacks; just choose one, and you'll be done in no time.

Brownies

These gooey, fudgy brownies, which are baked in muffin tins and resemble molten chocolate cake, can be prepared in less than an hour with the use of an air fryer. The addition of espresso powder to the batter and the finishing garnish of crunchy sea salt both contribute to bringing out the chocolate taste. Serve them either by themselves or with your preferred ice cream. Even better, create a brownie sundae by adding berries, whipped cream, chopped nuts, or caramel sauce on top.

Lava Cakes

Speaking of molten chocolate cakes, they are quite decadent and chocolaty; if you want to drink wine with them, we suggest a red one. You can serve the cakes simple or with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on top.

Cup Cakes

These traditional chocolate cupcakes can be made in 45 minutes and are perfect for entertaining because they are simple to prepare in advance and can even be frozen. To top them off, you can use either white buttercream, chocolate icing, or marshmallow frosting.

Parfait

These enormous sundaes are a pleasant early summer treat thanks to the flavorful strawberry sauce and cooling lemon sorbet. Graham crackers can be crushed to create a pleasant crunch, and vanilla ice cream gives the parfaits a sweet, creamy flavour. The parfaits can be finished with a dab of freshly made whipped cream and additional graham cracker crumbs.

Choco-chip Cookies

From beginning to end, it takes less than 30 minutes to create these chocolate chip cookies. The unbaked dough can be stored in a log, carefully wrapped in plastic wrap, in the freezer for up to two months if you want to get a jump on things and make them even quicker. When you're ready to bake, cut the dough into 1/2-inch pieces, thaw them on a cookie sheet for 10 minutes, and then bake.

Cookie Bars

Toasted nuts and semisweet chocolate chips are added to cookie bars, but feel free to experiment. Try replacing the pecans with walnuts or almonds, or use dried cranberries in place of the chocolate chips. The bars can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for up to five days.
