Made with vermicelli, rose syrup, and milk, falooda is often served with ice cream. Its roots date back to Iran (Persia), where a similar dessert called "faloodeh" was popular. It is said to be one of the oldest desserts, having been eaten in 400 BC and being brought to India during the Mughal era. Though it did not originate in India, with its tantalising textures, delicate floral aroma, and delicious flavour, falooda already rules the hearts of everyone in the country.
