After months of dating speculations, Bollywood actress and AAP MP Raghav Chadha got engaged in a grand but private ceremony held at Central Delhi’s Kapurthala House. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Congress leader P Chidambaram and many other politicians attended the engagement ceremony. Parineeti’s cousin and film star Priyanka Chopra Jonas also attended the function among other family members and friends. The ceremony started with Sukhmani Sahib Path followed by ardas and engagement in the evening.
Well, the thing that grabbed the limelight apart from the renowned politicians and Bollywood stars, was the engagement menu. The post shared, was captioned as ‘A lavish multicuisine spread, ethereal ivory-themed decor, and soulful music at Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s engagement function. In the video, one can clearly see a sumptuous multicuisine menu consisting of dim sums, old Delhi-style kebabs, kulfis, cakes and so many other desserts. As per a report published in India Today, Parineeti’s brothers Sahaj, who is also a food entrepreneur, was closely monitoring the preparations of the engagement menu. The menu was a mix of Indian cuisine and featured delicious kebabs as well as so many vegan options for the guests too. The catering was reportedly done by Yum Yum Tree.
The ceremony had an ethereal ivory-themed décor with Parineeti and Raghav both dressed in cream and peach outfits. After the ceremony, the duo made an appearance outside the residence for the paparazzi and greeted them with a smile. The family members also distributed sweets to the photographers and journalists stationed outside the venue. Later that day, both Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha took to Instagram and announced their engagement. Priyanka Chopra Jonas also took to Instagram and shared some glimpse from the ceremony.
Parineeti Chopra was last seen with Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and other senior actors in ‘Uunchai’. The actress will next be seen with Diljit Dosanjh in Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Chamkila’.
