If there’s anything apart from their acting prowess that the Kapoor family is well-known for, it is their love for food. Almost every member of the Kapoor khandaan is a die-hard foodie, and Neetu Kapoor is one of them. While speaking at a reality show recently, the mother of actor Ranbir Kapoor said that the Kapoors are true foodies. The 64-year-old actress, however, likes to maintain a healthy balance between her indulgences, and enjoys home-cooked food. No wonder she shared a delicious oats recipe recently.

Neetu is a lover of simple and delicious, homemade food and also likes to keep it quick and easy when it comes to meals. Recently, she took to her Instagram Stories to share a quick recipe of her breakfast and it is oats. One can spot a picture of a bowl of cooked oats on her breakfast table. She captions the picture, revealing the recipe of this dish. “Steel-cut oats with almond milk, 1 date, 1 prune to sweeten”, is what comprises her breakfast oats.

Not only is it a light and healthy recipe, it also requires minimum ingredients and takes up very less time to make in the morning. In fact, soaked oats are believed to cook even more quickly. The actress made these delicious oats for breakfast recently and we are drooling. Instead of sugar, she opted for dates and prunes as natural sweeteners.

While she is all about fitness and health, the Kapoor family has had an influence on her too and she doesn’t shy away from sharing her foodie moments. These include a lavish Indian feast that she enjoyed with celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra some time ago. Placed on a silver thali, the actress was seen eating fried bhindi, eggplant and many vegetables along with roti. Moreover, she also loves rajma rice and a bowl of drumstick soup every now and then, as per a report by a leading media publication.

Homemade food seems to be Neetu’s go-to preferred meal. She loves dishes like Baigan Ka Bharta and Aloo Sabzi too. Not just this, she is also fond of cooking as she made and brought some popular delicacies of the Kapoor family to the reality show that she is currently judging.
