Neena Gupta Discovers A New Way Of Making 'Nimbu Pani' In Kerala

Actress Neena Gupta doesn’t need any introduction. The actress never shies away from speaking her heart out and a pure example of how a strong and bold woman can be. Talking about food, she is clearly one of the greatest foodies. Every time she goes on a vacation, she never misses enjoying scrumptious food and also shares her foodie indulgences with her fans. Recently, the actress, after coming back from her Europe trip, enjoyed her favourite desi meals like moong dal salad and tinda and rassa.

The actress is currently in Kerala shooting for her upcoming project. She took to Instagram and shared a video of nimbu pani being made but in a different style. She wrote, “New way of making Nimbu Pani #KeralaStories”. A lot of us usually mix lemon juice with water and other spices to make nimbu paani but there is more to it. In the video shared by Neena Gupta, we can see nimbu paani being prepared in a mixer-grinder for extra froth. The person first blends together sugar and water. Then, he doesn’t add any lemon juice but whole lemons in the mixer jar. Yes, you read that right. After blending it properly, the lemon peels were strained out and the juice was served!

Not just Neena Gupta, but this interesting way of making nimbu paani grabbed the attention of a lot of people. While some enquired about the exact location and area where the video was shot, some wondered if the lemon peels would have added bitterness to the drink. A netizen commented, “To everyone doubting the taste. Trust me, it doesn’t taste bitter. The tip here is using a bit cold water and serving immediately. The flavour of lemon rind is super refreshing. Best drink for a hot day. Yeah, this drink definitely needs more sugar than regular lemonade. But it’s ok to have it once in a while, I guess”.

Neena Gupta was last seen in 'Lust Stories 2' which was released on an OTT platform. As per sources, Neena Gupta will next be a part of 'Metro In Dino'. Will you be making this unique nimbu paani at home? Do let us know!
