This food shop has been operating for 77 years, yet it was only recently given its name. Although the establishment has been well-known since the start, it has never been given a name. In 2017, the shop was renamed "Kona Dukan" by the current generation that runs it. Nothing on the menu can match the potent combination of tea and malai, which are the most popular items in this food stand.

For the many tea enthusiasts in the city, this modest Stock Exchange tea stall, which is tucked away in the crowded Dalhousie BBD Bagh neighbourhood, has become a landmark!

The aloo samosa, butter toast, chilli cheese toast, chini malai toast, and of course, chai are all highly recommended by the frequent patrons. In addition, you can enjoy their vegetarian, paneer, egg, corn, broccoli and mushroom sandwiches. For everyone who enjoys delicious food and an unforgettable experience, this little restaurant is a beloved roadside cafe because of the bustle of everyday life, the informal talks over endless cups of tea, the vibrant population, and the affordable rates.
The Calcutta Stock Exchange is one of the oldest stock exchanges in South Asia, and its breakfast scenes are an evergreen one. Open from 5.30 am, this street has stalls that live up to your breakfast goals. Although nothing they have is not worth eating, the vegetable and cheese corn sandwiches here are scrumptious. Or have an Indian brekkie with a plate of vada pav or kachori-sabji and coffee. But what you definitely don't want to miss is their chai, served in a mud pot and their malai toast.
