While tea-time snacks range from namak pare to greasy, crunchy pakodas, open a pack of biscuits and everything else come second. And then there are a variety of biscuits from sweet to savoury. However, after some time of opening a pack, the biscuits seem to go stale and tasteless. They tend to get soggy too. But does that mean you should throw them? Wait until we tell you how to reuse them! Wondering what those are?

Here are five ways to reuse soggy biscuits. Take a look below.

1. Pie Or Cheesecake Base

A pie or a cheesecake isn’t complete without a good crust. And while there are several pie crust doughs to choose from, including shortcrust, filo, or puff; a biscuit base can work in the similar way. A cheesecake requires a cookie base, and no matter if you have a vanilla, butter or chocolate biscuits, you can make a good, crunchy crust either way.

2. Shakes and Smoothies

Well, this might come as a surprise, but if you can put those crunchy chia seeds, flaxseeds, or even muesli in your shakes and smoothies, why not biscuits? A spoonful of biscuit crumbs to your glass full of shake is enough to get you hooked.

3. Biscuit Doughnuts

All you have to do is combine biscuit crumbs and butter to make the doughnut balls, and simply fry them in oil until golden brown on both sides. You can play around with the icing on top, but make sure to eat when they are still warm to make the most of yumminess!

4. Biscuit Waffles

Crispy and delectable waffles are a delight, whether for breakfast or simply for a sinful indulgence. One can make cookie crumbs, add butter, knead a dough and simply put them into the waffle iron! You’ll have a biscuit waffle to indulge-in.

5. Baked Biscuit Bites

Cut leftover biscuits in half and arrange them on a baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Simply top with a cooked savoury meat or veggie mix along with some sauces. Sprinkle shredded cheese and bake in a 325 degree F oven for 15 minutes, or until heated through. A lasagna like crunchy treat is ready to be devoured.
