Festivals and food are directly proportional. Food is the centre focus of celebrations and even acts as a stimulus for people to meet and greet. One such is Pongal. It's a method to reminisce with friends, family, and co-workers about beautiful times spent together. That's why, even when individuals relocate, they tend to carry a lot of local ingredients with them since that's what they're accustomed to eating and finding comfort in.

Inspired by this, True Elements offers a healthy recipe for Pongal for people who have migrated across the country and cannot prepare the delicious Pongal. But now, they too can celebrate by themselves while retaining the essence of the festival because what’s more comforting than a warm, delicious soup?
