She wrote that the food we eat affects our bodies. When the temperature drops and cold weather sets in, one must fuel his/her body with food that can help raise your body temperature and make you feel warm.

Ghee 

This quintessential ingredient could be found in every Indian kitchen. Ghee enjoys a good reputation in Ayurveda and is a go-to remedy for many chronic illnesses. As per nutritionist Lovneet Batra, ghee is nutritionally superior to other oils and this is because of its medium chain fatty acids content. Ghee exclusively contains butyric acid, which promotes easy digestion and a stronger immune system. One must add ghee to their everyday diet.  

Ginger, Mulethi, And Tulsi Tea 

This trio can work like magic, especially in Winter, and to have the benefits of all three ingredients together, tea could be the best option. Ginger is known to be a remedy for better digestive health and can help in thermogenesis stimulation. It can warm the body like no other. Similarly, mulethi has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties which makes it ideal for winter while tulsi can cure a common cold, flu, and even anxiety.  

Sesame Seeds 

Also known as til. sesame seeds are high in fiber and can help in promoting better digestion and smoother bowel movement. Besides, it can help with constipation and inflammation. As per nutritionist Lovneet Batra, a bioactive compound present in sesame seeds known as sesamol is responsible for inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory chemicals. 

Bajra  

Bajra is a superfood and we all know this. It has so many antioxidant properties because of loaded with flavonoids, lignin, and phytonutrients. It can keep seasonal infections at bay, prevent the anti-aging process, and helps in rejuvenating the skin.
