Tikkas are meant to be made in tandoor and they taste heavenly delicious. There are varieties of tikka recipes which one could find both in vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions like Paneer Tikka, Chicken Tikka, Mushroom Tikka, Soya Masala Tikka, Fish Tikka, etc. They are first marinated with flavourful spices and seasonings and then roasted over a tandoor for the smoky flavour.

Here is a recipe shared of Fish Tikka, which is made without any tandoor and still retains the same taste of any tandoor preparation. This is easy to make at home as it requires no tandoor or no such technique. The marinated fish in curd when cooked over a skillet or a pan turns juicy making it appetising.
