However, no matter how good the main course or the dessert is, there is certainly a feeling of dissatisfaction if the vast menu is not accompanied by something made from the old and trusty rooh afza. Rooh afza is one of the most classic features of Eid al Adha and is made quite frequently on this occasion. However, having the same old rooh afza drink can become a bit boring. To give an innovative twist to the classic rooh afza recipe, here are some delicious dishes and beverages that you can make at home.

* Rooh Afza Lemonade

Rooh afza lemonade is the perfect respite from the scorching heat outside. The body is already very dehydrated and the urge to drink something is hard to ignore. However, drinking basic lemonade, or water as a drink can become a bit boring after some time. So a great way to combine the goodness of these two different drinks is to make a fusion drink by mixing them together. This is a refreshing and minimally sweet drink that has the citrusy flavours of lemons, and at the same time, the rosy touch of roohafza. One has to make lemonade regularly and then in that mixture add a little bit of rooh afza. Also, garnish the drink with a lot of fresh mint leaves before serving it with lots of ice. The drink will have a beautiful red colour and a refreshing taste.

* Rooh Afza Lassi

Lassi is one of the most satisfying beverages, especially in the summer. As it is made from curd, it is very digestive and helps in tackling the problem of inflammation in the stomach. Generally, people like to have lassi as it is by adding a little bit of sugar. But this lassi can be instantly transformed into a special drink by adding some rooh afza to the chilled lassi. One has to simply take some fresh curd and dilute it by adding water. This has to be mixed in a food processor to make a frothy mixture. Now add one tablespoon of rooh afza along with sugar as per taste. Blend this well in the food processor and serve it with a lot of ice cubes.
